Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-14

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Human Benchmark, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

  • Usage data: anonymized analytics such as page views and general interaction patterns to improve product quality.
  • Test results: scores and timing data stored locally in your browser by default. If you create an account in the future (optional), you may opt in to saving results to our servers.
  • Technical data: device and browser information necessary for performance and security (e.g., IP address, user agent), processed in accordance with applicable law.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the site and games.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose issues.
  • Understand aggregate usage to guide product decisions.

Data Storage

By default, your test results are stored locally in your browser using local storage. If a cloud account feature is offered, you will be able to opt in to syncing results to your account; you can delete synced data at any time from your account settings.

Third Parties & Advertising

We may use analytics, hosting, and advertising providers to operate the service. These providers process limited data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. We work with ad partners (including NitroPay and downstream demand partners) that may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve relevant ads and measure performance. A list of approved IAB TCF v2 vendors is presented inside the consent tool linked at the bottom of every page.

For EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors, our Consent Management Platform (CMP) collects your choices for personalized advertising, ad measurement, and audience insights in line with the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive. You can change or withdraw consent at any time by clicking Consent Preferences in the footer.

Your Choices

  • You can clear local data via your browser settings at any time.
  • If account features are available and you opt in, you can export or delete your data from account settings or by contacting support.
  • You can review or update advertising consent through the Consent Preferenceslink in the footer, available on every page.
  • You can opt out of non-essential cookies where applicable.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you specific rights regarding your personal information. The same or comparable rights are extended to residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws. These rights include:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • The right to request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

Although we do not sell personal information for money, some advertising activities on this site may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” under the broad definitions of CCPA/CPRA because they involve disclosing pseudonymous identifiers (such as cookies or device IDs) to advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise your right to opt out, please use the Do Not Sell My Personal Information link in the footer of every page, or send an email to support@humanbenchmark.online. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request.

In the prior 12 months we may have disclosed the following categories of personal information for advertising purposes: identifiers (e.g., cookie IDs, device IDs, IP address), internet or other electronic network activity information (e.g., browsing behavior on this site), and inferences drawn from the above. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
